Lashley has been a wrestler for a long time now. He has actually been wrestling for a total of 18 years and has successfully won a total of three national wrestling titles in the amateur category at the Missouri Valley College starting from 1996-1998. Bobby also happens to be the champion of the Armed Forces. He has wrestled for the WWE for about three years and it looks like that Bobby would take center stage and become a cynosure for all to see and behold. Bobby has currently joined the American Top Team and his WWE career would just take a backseat soon. After he came into the MMA, he wanted to make people realize that he wants to be known as a perfect fighter who has a background of a pro wrestler as opposed to being labeled as a professional wrestler who is fighting now. Lashley told the Sherdog Radios’ “Beatdown” that after he came to the American Top Team that was just his own way of manifesting his degree of dedication to the guys from MMA guys as this still remains as a factor to appreciate. He further says that he is fighting all the necessary shows that come his way and at the same time he is also learning the techniques to box and also learning Muay Thai, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu and trying to blend everything he is learning.
Bobby now absolutely wants to be known as a MMA Fighter and that’s what he wants to be known as all his life.
