Carwin’s Thoughts on Lesnar’s withdrawal

This fight was supposed to be an intense one. The crowd was also waiting for this match to take place. But, due to the pull out of Brock Lesnar, UFC 106 will not feature the match between Shane Carwin and Brock Lesnar.
Fans were eager to know what Carwin had to say on this pull out of Lesnar and Carwin has aired his thoughts with a blog post in his website ShaneCarwin.com.
As a lot of people may know Carwin was suffering from swine flu and this disease made him loose 15 pounds of weight. He also pulled his muscles during an ongoing training. He was in no shape to contest on UFC 104, but he started home training and rehabbing to get fit and come into a proper shape. Carwin made a special mention of a young man whom he met at Kmart. The guy competes in the Special Olympics and said to look up on the fighters. This whole incident made Carwin even more determined and he started training rigorously.
Carwin admitted that the pull out of Lesnar will give him more time to be in a much better shape and it is a blessing in disguise for him. But, he also added that under the same circumstances, he would have never done the same what Lesnar did. As Carwin himself said,” I know this is my destiny and I don’t need everything to be perfect I just need my opportunity to show the world what I can do and who I am.”
