Dana White Video Blog and Social Media Interview

UFC President Dana White has released another video blog ahead of tonight’s UFC on Versus 2: Jones vs. Matyushenko.

HeavyMMA.com also sat down with Dana and spoke to him about fan interaction via social media – specifically about interacting with the fans via twitter. He sees twitter as a way to ‘cut out the middle man’ – the news outlets and media – and have a direct line of communication with the fans. The UFC is the sport that has embraced social media and online marketing the most in recent years and it has definately paid off for them.

This next video shows Dana at the UFC “Tweetup” in Dan Diego. We love the part where Dana pays a fan’s $300 speeding ticket!
