Elvis Sinosic Returns at UFC 110

UFC President Dana White wants to make sure that “UFC 110” in Australia gets the desired success and his efforts clearly showcase his hard work. This latest attraction of the UFC debut show in Australia is going to be Elvis Sinosic. Yes! You read it right. “The King of Rock and Rumble” is going to make his return in the UFC 110 in Australia. Elvis is a longtime MMA veteran and had three prior runs in UFC. In those short spans, he was not able to prove his worth as a wrestler but nevertheless, the red-haired fighter was quite popular among the fans. The UFC authorities have not yet made it official but they announcement is expected to be made officially on February 21st at Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia.

Sinosic made a dream debut to UFC in 2001 when he defeated Jeremy Horn inside the octagon. But the fighter faced three consecutive defeats after that sizzling start as he lost against Evan Tanner, Tito Ortiz and Renato “Babalu” Sobral. In 2005, Sinosic returned to UFC once again but was unsuccessful again against Forrest Griffin and Alessio Sakara. The Australian was seen inside the octagon in 2007 as he lost again to Michael Bisping.

But the scenario is different now. It’s Sydney, Australia this time and this Australian is going to be a sure crowd-puller. The match will be even more interesting as he is going to face Chris Haseman, another Australian who also is making a comeback to UFC after eight long years. This match will be a rematch of a 1997 bout that took place in “Caged Combat 1” – one of the earliest major MMA events in Australia.
