Evan Dunham: the Guy’s got Some Talent

We are our best critics and it seems that Evan Dunham thoroughly believes in this philosophy! During a recent interview, he admitted that he believes his performances are mostly criticized by the critic within. His words later were proved right when he bashed his own performance against Efrain Escudero last Monday at UFC Fight Night 20. In spite of the fact that he actually won the match after coming back from behind, the 29 year old doesn’t seem to be happy with his efforts.

In that interview, he said that he was quite upset with his own performance in the first round as he thought he couldn’t fight to his potential. His performance, however, has caught the eye of the UFC authorities as they are considering him a good prospect for the promotion’s Lightweight division. Dunham debuted at UFC 95 and since then, he has always been a consistent performer and stayed away from major injuries. This is certainly a significant advantage that this man has in a currently injury-stricken roaster of UFC. He had an injury during the match; initially it was thought to be a broken arm, but that was not the case. This reality show star has only tweaked some tendons. He was awarded with the “submission of the Night”, but it seems the young man has no interest to bask in these minor glories. He might well turn out to be a great talent in the business. Good luck!
