Featherweight champion Bibiano Fernandes turns down fight after not getting paid
DREAM featherweight champion Bibiano Fernandes has refused to fight for DREAM again until he is paid for his last fight against Joachim Hansen earlier this year. He said today that he already tuned down a fight on September 21st.
“Dream called me two days ago to offer me a fight at September 21, but I said I won’t fight until they pay me for my last fight (against Joachim Hansen). I have family, I have a wife and I can’t work without getting paid. I’ll only fight against when they pay me for my last fight”.
Fernandes said via Tatame Magazine,
This isn’t the first time DREAM have failed to pay a fighter on time, with Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza waiting for four months after his fight with Jason “Mayhem” Miller to see his money.
