Former MMA UFC fighter Justin Levens found dead
Justin Levens who happens to be an ex- MMA as well as an UFC fighter was found dead along with his wife Sarah Levens at their home in Laguna Niguel in California. The police and the investigating officials say that the couple was found dead on their bed and the gun was also found. Jim Amormino the Sheriff’s spokesman said that the death of the couple was found by Sarah’s mother and she was the one who had phoned 911.
There are several news agencies that have reported that the Police suspect the entire morbid incident as a murder-suicide. However no official reports have been released yet. Levens, who was nicknamed “The executioner”, had not fought as a professional since the month of October of 2007. Justin did fight in three separate MMA organizations. He fought in Ultimate Fighting Championship or UFC, the International Fight League IFL and the World Extreme Cage fighting WEC. He had secured a total of 9 wins and suffered 8 losses. 7 out of his 9 wins were via TKO’s.
Justin was scheduled to fight a match in the MMA event to be held the July of 2008; however he did not even get such a chance as the show ran out of time. Levens later was fined a sum of 1,000 USD for having tested positive during a pre-fight drug analysis.
