Frank Shamrock is a well known UFC fighter and it has been a while since he suffered from a major injury. To be precise it has been almost nine months since he broke his arm. This accident made him loose his championship belt, the Strikeforce world middleweight title to his opponent Cung Le in a match that is considered to be one of this year’s most well known and most anticipated matches. However, a major question remains. The fans surely want to see him in action again and which are the fighters that the fans would really want to see facing Shamrock in his comeback match.

The UFC officials did a weekly poll to determine the fighter whom the fans want to see face Frank. It thus came as a slight surprise when the aforementioned Le failed to even rank in the top order of two after the results came out in the latest episode of the show aptly named “Inside MMA.” It was found out that more than half the fans who voted wanted to see Shamrock go head to head with the ex-UFC superstar Tito Ortiz who currently is a free agent. This was lauded as a rematch taking place in nearly a decade and a total of a whooping 52% of the fans who voted wanted to see this match more than any other.
