Hansen fights over his contract
AS all MMA fans might be aware of the mysterious withdrawal of Hansen from the New Year’s Eve clash in a match set against Gesias Cavalcante he seemed to have vanished. Coincidentally Gesias Cavalcante is also a top 10 lightweight MMA performers just like Hansen. Hansen is presently the reigning Dream lightweight tournament champ of the MMA world. His disappearance seems to have left back no clue at all and none of his associates can say anything about his whereabouts. Hansen’s coach or his partners in training cannot say anything about his sudden disappearing act. Hansen’s management also could not say anything about the whereabouts of this Norwegian MMA fighter.
Since the 31st of Dec, a match that was supposed to be held in Japan reportedly had been cancelled all thanks to the fact that Hansen failed his medical clearance. He reportedly failed this test all because of a particular “injury to the head” and the rumor mills have started to work in full force. There are already several wild rumors that have been circulated about Hansen’s physical condition who is presently 29-years of age. “Hellboy” as he is known in the MMA circuit has been facing all these rumors all of which are particularly spawned by several non-statements from Keiichi Sasahara who happens to be the Dream event producer. The speculation graph has reached pretty high and the rumors even went as far as to suggest that Hansen might be suffering from a career-threatening brain tumor.
John Benjamin the representative of Hansen as in terms of all the business matters recently told Sherdog.com that all the rumors about Hansen are pretty baseless and he does not suffer from any sort of health issue. According to Benjamin they are presently in a dispute with their contract with the parent company of Dream that goes by the name of Fighting & Entertainment Group.
