Jim Ross Writes about Brock’s Current Health Status

WWE Hall of famer Jim Ross has recently provided an update on Brock Lesnar’s current health status. His comments were not much liked by any UFC fan for sure. Brock is away from the octagon from last July and since then; things became worse along with time. Initially, UFC stated that Brock’s injury is not serious and he will be back in action in a few weeks. But things didn’t take place that way; 2009 is over and we are yet to see Brock in ring. In addition to that, nobody is sure when he will be able to compete.

Jim Ross in his recent blog post said that UFC may strip him off his title. Ross also stated that he had diverticulitis and thus he can clearly understand what Brock might be going through now. Brock needs to change his diet and take considerable amount of rest before he can compete in professional level. Jim doubts a return even in 2010 which will perhaps compel UFC authorities to strip Brock from the title. Meanwhile, Frank Mir, the only fighter who had been able to defeat Brock in UFC, doubted whether Brock will be the same ever gain even if he returns. He feels Brock was never strong technically; his strength was his brute power. So if he fails to put on the same kind of size as he had before, he may not be very successful at 245 pounds category. Jim Ross, however, wished Brock all the luck and expects him to be back in the octagon soon.
