Joe Brammer: Meet the New Boy in Town

Joe Brammer stole the spotlight when the 175 pound guy managed to cut off his weight drastically in 48 hours to participate in a 155 pound category fight and performed superbly that brought him closer to his dream, the UFC. The 26 year old is of the opinion that his upcoming match at Las Vegas against Mark Bocek at “The Ultimate Fighter 10” Finale on December 5th is going to be a great opportunity for him to ignite his position in the UFC as well as in the heart of the fans. This kid fights his heart out; so the match is expected to be a great one.

Born in Oklahoma, Brammer grew up playing baseball and football and was very good at skateboarding. Martial Arts was his favorite since childhood; though he was not allowed by his parents to begin his lessons in this art form. Brammer had to move to Des Moines with his family as his father started a new Christian church there. He first joined an institute to learn formal jeet-kune-do and jiu-jitsu when he was 16. In the early days, Brammer had a problem of fainting and had a few bad injuries earlier in his career. His victory in last September paved his way in the UFC as he is now being booked for the December 5th event. Being a son of a preacher and a strict follower of The Bible, the kid stands way apart from the rest in the roaster; MMASpark wishes him all the luck.
