Jose Aldo: A Great Fighter with A Great Soul
Jose Aldo, a fantastic performer in UFC has made himself proud with his latest championship victory in WEC. He is now the new WEC Featherweight Champion. Now you can also own some of the items used in that spectacular victory that night. Yes, you heard it right! Some items that he brought in the cage with him that night are on auction and that too, for a good cause.
Jose clarified that it’s a charity in Brazil, his motherland. His manager and interpreter ED Soares told in a press conference that the entire sum of money generated from this auction will be used to buy mats and gis and kimonos to aid the poor kids living in the hilly areas so that they can enjoy a better training facility. Jose always wanted to his bit for these underprivileged kids and his deep concern for them has a reason. Before earning the fame in UFC and WEC, Jose was raised in the rural Brazil. Now it’s his time to pay back to the community and that’s exactly what he is doing.
Jose is auctioning off his fight banner and the two hats used by his cornermen used in “WEC 44: Brown vs. Aldo”. All three items will be signed by Jose. Along with this auction, Jose’s Nova Uniao team is currently donating 10% of all purchases from the team’s official store for the underprivileged as a part of the Nova Uniao Community Program. Jose is surely a great fighter; and now his deeds prove he is an even better human being.
