Josh Koscheck and Paulo Thiago in a Rematch in UFC 109

UFC 109 is reportedly going to showcase a rematch in the welterweight division between Paulo Thiago and Josh Koscheck. This rematch was speculated earlier by several sources but now it seems to be a confirmed bout. The UFC officials has not yet made it official till December 1st, but Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas is sure to host this match on February 6th. The two fighters had faced each other in last February and Thiago won the match in a shocking first round TKO.
Koscheck now is in the right frame of mind; both physically and mentally after his back to back wins against Anthony Johnson and Frank Trigg. Koscheck was a participant in the debut season of “TUF”. He defeated “Rumble” in November and closing the gap between him and the welterweight title. If the speculations are taken to be true, the current champion Georges St-Pierre is going to defend his title against Dan Hardy in March next year. A win over Thiago in UFC 109 can surely help Koscheck to advance towards his goal. Meanwhile, Thiago, after defeating Koscheck, had lost his match against Jon Fitch at UFC 100 in last July. But the fighter regained some momentum in UFC 106 when he defeated Jacob Volkmann and took his tally to 2-1 in UFC. The two fighters have their own reason to win this battle which is sure to become a show stealer.
