Takeya Mizugaki is a well known UFC performer and has a good fan base. Recently, Brian Bowles had to withdrawn from the title bout he was about to face against Miguel Torres all due to his injuries. Torres is also the World Extreme Cagefighting bantamweight champion. This match between Torres and Bowles was to take place at the WEC 40 on the 5th of April at the UIC Pavilion in the US city of Chicago. Takeya Mizugaki has stepped in to fill the absence of Bowles. Mizugaki also happens to be one of the top-10 ranked individuals of the UFC. This particular replacement match has been completely agreed and this match will have to be penned down on contracts very shortly and as per the several sources that lie close to these negotiations this bout is going to take place real soon. Bowles continues to retain his undefeated streak and has clocked in a total of four straight WEC victories had suffered a very painful back injury on Monday and is hoped to recover for the next month. This news or rather this information has been compiled from a camp source. This 25-year-old Japanese standout has also been offered a total of five-fighting deals with the promotion and as per the information from his management; Mizugaki’s first bout would be against the much respected native from East Chicago, Ind in a five-round title tilt. Both fans as well as UFC experts are eager to look forward for this match.
