Then don’t miss the mega clash between Brett Rogers and debutant Fedor Emelianenko on 7th November at the Sears Centre, Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Rogers will push himself to the limits in order to win this match that will ignite his popularity and reputation. For Fedor, on the other hand, it is the greatest opportunity to make his presence felt in the MMA circuit. But before the giants clash, let’s take a look on their strengths and weaknesses.

STRIKING

The striking ability gives you the upper hand in head to head clashes. Both neither Rogers nor Emelianenko are clean strikers. Rogers is a better fighter with tactical knockouts. He’s also a strong puncher. Emelianenko is also a master puncher and absolutely phenomenal in submission. He also has a world of experience in fighting against some of the finest strikers in the business. This can certainly give him an extra edge.

GRAPPLING

Grappling is art that can prove to be lethal against any opponent. Emelianenko’s Judo and Sambo background will definitely give him an added advantage on the ground. Roger’s grapple moves are not tested, so it’s safer for him not to try anything fishy and keep a close eye on Emelianenko.

CAGE CONTROL

Rogers has proved his worth inside a cage. He has a lot of experience which can put Emelianenko in some trouble. We haven’t seen Emelianenko in a cage ever; so this can go either in favor or against him. We need to wait and watch.
