The UFC welterweight champion St.Piere is expected to celebrate the four-round beating that he gave his opponent B.J. Penn (who is also very famous in the light heavyweight circuit). He gave a tremendous beating to BJ in a match that took place on last Saturday at the UFC 94 in the city of Las Vegas. However, it is pretty surprising to see that St. Pierre’s had to simply defend his integrity against a pack of allegations that was spreading all throughout UFC. The allegation was that his cornermen had applied Vaseline to his shoulders in an improper manner. They also applied Vaseline to his back during his first couple of corner breaks. He later said that he has never ever cheated in his life. He was pretty much emotional when he spoke to “Beatdown” show that happens to be Sherdog’s Radio Network. He said this on the radio show on Wednesday that he has never said anything bad to B.J. Penn and at the same time, he has never answered back to him and he also adds that he has been immensely respectful of BJ.

St.Piere is a 27-year-old French-Canadian and is the one who had recently bested Penn through a narrow margin as per a split decision that was taken in the first meeting at the UFC 58 that took place in the month of March in the year 2006. Pierre later added that every bit of Penn’s contempt has been simply misplaced. This incident is pretty disrespectful however Pierre also adds that B.J. is a winner and he understands a winner’s mentality. A winner’s mentality is that it always tries to decipher the reasons of losing a match. Pierre somewhat criticized the actions and the contempt of Penn and he says that Penn should have reacted in a different way instead of being full of contempt.
