In the New Year’s Eve, Versus is ready to gift the fans what they crave for! Fighting! And this time it is a marathon of World Extreme Cagefighting –related content that will aired all day long next week. The show will be on air on 31st December from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. and from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m. The show will broadcast replays of the major MMA events from this year and the list includes the recent “WEC: 45 Cerrone vs. Ratcliff” event in Las Vegas along with WEC and Versus “Best of 2009” specials. The show will also include some great WEC matches that include WEC 41: Brown vs. Faber, WEC 44: Brown vs. Aldo and more.

WEC hosted a total of eight events this year and in a recent interview, WEC President Peter Dropick has stated that they are planning at least seven such shows in the coming year. Meanwhile, Versus and WEC continue to strengthen their business relationships as they signed a new and expanded deal. The deal is recently announced in public along with another one; in 2010, WEC broadcasts in Canada have made a move from its former home TSN to The Score.
