UFC Spreads its Wingsl

What a calm manner to announce such a big news! Marshall Zelaznik, the U.K. Division President of UFC declared a great news for the UFC fans at Thursday’s pre-fight press conference for “UFC 105: Couture vs. Vera”. Zelaznik informed the fans and media that UFC will be broadcasted in over 50 countries and territories live. The recorded will be seen in another 130 countries and territories and thus UFC will reach to 400 million homes across the globe. After their show in England, the company has also planned to expand further including Abu Dhabi, Australia and Italy.

Zelaznik said that the company is happy to be back here in Manchester. The curiosity of the fans and the energy of this beautiful place were much appreciated by him. Zelaznik said that he and the UFC have been thrilled with the rising popularity of mixed martial arts in Europe and abroad. He announced that “UFC 105: Couture vs. Vera” is already an official sellout and the MEN arena will experience the largest European crowd to ever witness a UFC event on Saturday. When our correspondent asked him about the next year’s plan of UFC, Zelaznik said he firmly believes that there will still be the same number of international events in 2010. The planned event in Australia is almost finalized and UFC is very close to sign a TV deal in Europe. Each year, the company is enjoying over 30 percent increase in business and this year things won’t be any different either. So, how far can UFC go now? Certainly, for Zelaznik, only sky is the limit.
